Latuch Brothers Farms had its beginning in 1945, when Phillip B Latuch, a retired electrician,
who was born in Russia, and had raised his family in Pittsburgh, decided to look for a new
niche for his family. Knowing nothing of farming became an advantage, as there were no bad
habits yet learned. With modest resources and an overwhelming desire to learn his new trade,
Phillip, and his sons Tony and Ted, soon began their quest for the dream of owning a herd of
registered Holsteins. Today Tony's sons Roger and Dave operate the farms, with Uncle Ted still
very mush involved with the mating of the cows. Our goal today is to continue breeding strong
functional cows, and to honor our father and grandfather, by continuing their efforts with
integrity in both life, and the joy of raising registered Holsteins.
